Soda drinks photo shoot

These are some shots from a shoot I did of some kefir soda just before the start of summer for The Wild Fermentary. It felt so right shooting refreshing sodas as we were entering the warm part of the year!

Lime cola

Glass of brown soda with bubbles, a lime, and an open bottle labeled "Kefir Soda" on a wooden surface. Green leaves in the background.

I really loved the combination of the warm, rust brown colour with a fresh green.

Ginger root

For this shot I used hard light to create a look of sunshine shining through a window.

Berry Blush

Such a pretty pink! The colour paired so perfectly with accompanying strawberries and mint. Red and green can sometimes look too Christmassy, but the soft blush pink balanced it out nicely and although this would potentially work for Christmas, I don't feel like it is the first thing you think of when you see the shots.

Beet & berry

How incredible is this colour?! Back lighting in drinks photography is probably one of my favourite lighting methods. You can see in these shots how it catches the top of the liquid in the glass beautifully and also the highlights on the glass itself.
