Hi there! I'm Julia, a Tauranga-based commercial photographer.

For as long as I can remember, photography has been my creative outlet. There are many things I just can’t pass by without wanting to capture them - from something big like a grand landscape, to something tiny like the way water drops sit on the cabbages in my garden. (A bush walk with me usually involves a million stops for “wow that light is so beautiful!” and me getting out the camera…)

I love working in commercial photography because it provides continual inspiration and challenges for my creativity - each new project is a chance to explore something new and create something unique. Whether it's a studio shoot or an on-location lifestyle session, my goal to create images that are not only beautiful to look at, but that cause the viewer to feel something when they see them.

I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients, from makers of high-quality products like artisan cheeses, craft spirits and fine wines, to businesses that offer unique travel and lifestyle experiences. I love working closely with each client to understand their unique brand story and figuring out how I can convey that through the images I create.

I've had the pleasure of working with some amazing brands from around the country and I'm always eager to explore new and exciting projects.
