Barcelona
I’d go back in a heartbeat.
I loved walking the streets - many kilometres each day, taking in the sights, devouring delicious local food and sipping a well-earned sangria in a Spanish courtyard bar far older than anything back home. A city that, I have to admit, took me by surprise with how much I’d like it.
Vibrant colours and mosaics, iconic architecture, tree-lined boulevards, narrow alleyways - everything down to an individual lamppost worthy of stopping to admire because it looked like a work of art and told a story of craftsmanship.
The challenge is always the same: how can a camera capture something so deeply experiential?
These photos are some of my favourite shots from the trip. More than just holiday snaps, I hope they capture a piece of the magic - the feeling of constant wonder and the feeling of falling in love with a city.
